Student Booths/Modules – Back to the Future

Today’s crisis in regard to the education of our children does have answers used in the past. Back in the Sixties and Seventies Language Laboratories provided an individual booth or module where the student could learn well separated from their neighbour. Here we see an example of that type of learning arrangement which, with some small adjustments, can enable a full class to be taught with an effective virus barrier between students.

The Single Screen can be sighted as required or simply stood between desks. The screen illustrated stands 5 feet (1525mm) high and measures 1220 x 1220 mm in coverage. Other sizes can be made to suit customer requirements.

The screened modules can incorporate a work station or be constructed around most existing desks. After their need has passed they can be dis-assembled, packed flat and stored. After all, this may not be the last virus attack that we may face. They could also be employed during examinations.

The height, width, and depth of the module is easily varied to suit the requirements of the school. They are easily assembled as they come pre-cut, pre-drilled, colour-coded and numbered. Only two tools are needed. One to hold the nut (M4 nut driver or spanner) the other to turn the screw (M4 hex driver). the materials are powder-coated aluminium and non-combustible uPVC which can be wiped clean as often as you wish with bleach or similar cleaner.

Prices – Single screen as above £29.00. Student modules £235.00 first unit £197.00 follow on units in one line. All prices plus VAT and delivery.
