Difficult Access Solutions

Changing a light bulb? Fairy simple one would think. Not in this case. The fixture in question is 20′ above the hall floor and there is no way to position a ladder against any wall to get within an arm’s length of the fixture. Neither can you erect a tower as the stairs are in the way.

There is a Geneero solution.

1. Connect three OUL sections using tubes and fish plates

2. At both ends of the OUL attach two crossrails. One goes to the floor and leans towards the wall. The other touches the wall and stops the tube from falling and transfers the load onto the wall.

3. A ladder is placed from the top of the stairs onto the OUL. Climb up the ladder and change the lamp and/or clean the fixture. The pictures tell the story.

As you can see there is nothing to lean a ladder against and no room for steps or a tower.

Here the considerable height of the lamp is apparent
